Frankie Schmidt, PA-C
Physician Assistant to Dr. Mark Pitner
Frankie Schmidt, PA-C, is an Orthopedic Physician Assistant specializing in General Orthopedics at MD West One. She completed her physician assistant training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Frankie was always interested in science growing up but first became interested in medicine following knee surgery after a basketball injury while in high school. It was this personal experience that made her consider medicine after graduating from high school. She loved her anatomy classes, learning about the human body, helping, and interacting with people. This lead her to choose a career as a physician assistant. The most rewarding part of being an orthopedic physician assistant for Frankie is being part of caring for patients and seeing each patient get back to living their life after they have recovered from a surgery or injury.
In her free time, Frankie enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She enjoys watching her children participate in their various sporting activities. Frankie and her family enjoy being outdoors, attending sporting events and traveling back to Minnesota, where she grew up.
