Starting July 1, 2024, Southwest Omaha residents will have access to more advanced, sub-specialized orthopedic and spine care closer to home. MD West ONE is expanding its services in its Millard clinic to better serve Southwest Omaha residents in Millard, Papillion, LaVista, Ralston, Gretna and the surrounding southwestern Nebraska region. MD West ONE Millard is located at 5908 S 142nd St. Omaha, NE 68137 within the Methodist Physicians Clinic.
Dr. Justin Makovicka and Dr. Landon Ehlers will begin clinic at the MD West ONE Millard location starting July 1, 2024. The full team of MD West ONE Millard Specialists include: Dr. George Emodi, Total Joint Specialist; Dr. James Mantone, Total Joint Specialist; and Dr. Jack McCarthy, Upper Extremity Specialist.
About Dr. Justin Makovicka
Dr. Justin Makovicka is a knee and sports medicine orthopedic specialist, who is one of a handful of double fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons in the country specializing in both sports medicine and reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder. He completed both fellowships at Mayo Clinic, first in Adult Reconstruction followed by a second fellowship in Sports Medicine. Due to extensive training, he specializes in all aspects of knee and shoulder pathology in a wide range of age groups. This includes complex disorders such as multi-ligamentous knee and cartilage injuries. He also has training in the latest techniques, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted total joint replacement.

About Dr. Landon Ehlers
Dr. Landon Ehlers specializes in endovascular neurosurgery and spine. He completed medical school and his neurosurgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Then completed his fellowship in endovascular neurosurgery at Ohio State University. Dr. Ehlers specializes in cerebrovascular neurosurgery, cranial, spine and peripheral neurosurgery.
