I have worked with Doctors Phillips, McMullen, Rosipal and Bowdino at various times for over 30 years. They have all been excellent in treating me with courteous staff, a variety of locations and good accessibility to getting appointments. Also their hospital on Farnam is wonderful.

With the exception of the patient registrar I would rate the visit a 10. Dr Otterberg was cordial and professional, as usual and I was in and out in an efficient amount of time. I had to greet the registrar who did not even look up at me and was very robotic in her manner as if she were too busy to bother with me. I would rate her a 3 and that's generous. I was a registrar before I retired and I would never treat a patient as she did.

The Dr's. have always shared my xrays with me and showed me exactly what they are talking about. They always have given me the least invasive option to the to the that may involve surgery. Dr's. run through all pros and cons and make sure I understand this my decision to make. I have recommended the clinic to several others.

Dr. Doran is an amazing physician, who clearly cares about his patients. His knowledge and experience is reassuring. His terrific bedside manner kept me at ease during a difficult time. His honesty is refreshing. He provided me with valuable information that allowed me to make an educated decision about how to proceed with my healthcare. I would, without hesitation, recommend him. I’m grateful for the care he provided.

I've been here several times for different issues. Dr. Bowdino, his PA....Charlie and his nurse Cala are excellent, thorough and friendly. It's like coming home.

I have rarely experienced the smooth and friendly service that I get at this medical office. Such a perfect balance between professionalism and personability! They are efficient, but I don’t feel like I’m a cog in a wheel. The doctor always has time to answer my questions. All around, a very comfortable, satisfying experience as a patient.

Chris has a great bedside manner & very friendly. He was very informative about my condition. His nurse is very friendly & understanding when it came to me giving her my list of medications she was wonderful. The ladies up front in the check-in area were very friendly also. All in all the whole group was professional & pleasant. I enjoyed coming there.

Dr McCarthy is amazing. He did my rotator cuff surgery 9 years ago and my bilateral carpal tunnel surgery before that. He takes his time to explain everything and asks questions about you. I was so happy that he is still practicing when I made my appointment for a ganglion cyst causing pain on my hand today, which he aspirated. Highly recommend!

Everyone was so nice and respectful. Got in at scheduled time. Didn't have to wait to be seen. Is a excellent place. Would recommend the staff and doctors. Took care of all my needs and answered all questions and concerns.

This office is always runs smoothly-quick check in, appointments start on time as scheduled, no long waits for doctor to enter exam room, etc. Every single interaction with doctors, support staff, and technicians that I have experienced has been professional and warm. Highly recommend. Dr. Grier was compassionate, highly informative and went the extra mile in assessing my orthopedic issues.

As always no issues. Had to wait a just a little longer than usual but my doctor was on call so perfectly understandable and not considered a problem. Check in, Dr., Xray tech and nurses great as always.

Staff were friendly and very efficient. Dr. Ehlers listened to my concerns and communicated a logical plan for my care. He was pleasant and genuinely concerned about me. Fantastic experience all around.

These hips don’t lie! Dr Phillips did a great job! I’m two weeks post op and on track and can already see my freedom of movement returning. I can get in and out of my chair almost like a normal human! Thanks to all involved!

Super friendly and just a fun atmosphere all around. Dr McCarthy has been one of my favorites for years. Remembered my name and what I do from the last time I saw him 7 years ago. He performed a hand and shoulder surgery on my back in 2011 that I haven't had issues with since. Super staff and awesome Dr.

Jess has such a passion to help her patients that is hard to find in healthcare. I came to the realization today that I had given up. She alone reignited my passion to fight, reiterating what it is we’re fighting for and why. The fight is about me, my health and my quality of life, proving that I’m not alone in this fight. Dr. Doran and his PA Julie took the time to listen to all my concerns and answer all my questions. They were very honest and compassionate. I would highly recommend Dr. Doran and Julie.

Was referred to MD West one from another clinic where I was seen for my hip. I was able to get in right away and was seen by PA Julie and Dr Doran . I really liked them both. Julie took time to listen to my complaints and found cause and the same for Dr Doran. I’ve been to several doctors to try to find the cause of my pain, Vein specialist and hip specialist but I think I may finally get the relief and solution to my issues. I would recommend them both

The only downside was the wait—I waited almost an hour to be seen. The rest of the visit was great. Staff friendly, doctor explained things very well.

Dr.Gaffney at MD West One is my favorite orthopedic doctor. He’s done a few surgeries on my wrists and is very empathetic and compassionate. He always listens and answers all my questions. He never makes me feel like an annoyance. His bedside manner is unmatched. I highly recommend Dr.Gaffney for shoulder, arm, hand care. The staff at MD West One is always friendly.

I live in the Des Moines area and would come to MD I WEST FARNUM CLINIC WEST ONE any day of the week for an appt. It is worth the trip! The medical service is superb - all the way from the receptionist, schedulers nurses and doctors. I am so very much impressed with their authenticity, graciousness and caring. For extraordinary care, it is the place to go!! - not kidding- no brag, just the facts!!

I found the staff to be very helpful, nice, and friendly. The Dr. explained everything she felt was going on and included me in the decision of care now and the options I have going forward.

Those helping me were very professional. Dr O'Malley was great, personable and kind. I trust him and his recommendations. This was my second visit. The first visit was the same except for the receptionist in the second window. I felt ignored while standing waiting for her to acknowledge me. And she was rude when she finally looked at me. So my first impression wasn't good but the rest of the visit went well.

MD West One is amazing, I found out that I needed a new knee and have been getting injection here for year tell I'm ready to do surgery. Everyone is amazing at the offices, never had any issues getting in. Every interaction has been a pleasant one.

I was having mobility issues this day but they had wheelchairs available for my use. The check in staff was fabulous and made me feel welcome. Doctor wanted a new X-ray of my leg and that was done quickly and with care for my comfort. Dr Mantone spent time with me and showed concern about my current issues. Wonderful experience.

I was 10 minutes late and the Dr still seen me. Very professional. I'm a very busy party of time, especially during lunch. Update. Surgery was a breeze. Drs and nurses are awesome. The nurse who removed my stitches was fast. Glad to know the same service at this location as the one in West Dodge. Thanks everybody!!!
