Physician Assistant to Dr. Brett W. Fischer

Sophie Ullman, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant specializing in Sports Medicine with Dr. Brett W. Fischer at MD West ONE. Sophie completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Union College in Lincoln, NE.

She has worked for MD West ONE since 2020 alongside Dr. Brett W. Fischer. Sophie has always had a love for medicine, and with her experience as a college athlete, she was drawn to sports medicine. She was especially drawn to the orthopedics aspect and a physician assistant's role on the medical team.

Through her experience of being a college athlete and working in the healthcare field, Sophie enjoys the transition between surgery, clinic, and educating her patients about their specific condition(s). Her main goal is to help her patients get back to competing in sports by helping them successfully through their recovery. Sophie truly appreciates her time working at MD West One with Dr. Fischer and the whole team of supportive professionals.

Sophie was recently married and relishes spending any spare time with her husband, family, and friends. Outside of work, she enjoys golfing, reading, exercising, and during the summer months relaxing at the lake.
