About the Omaha Lancers
Founded in 1986, the Omaha Lancers are a member of the United States Hockey League (USHL), the nation’s top Tier I junior hockey league. Known for their passionate fan base and winning tradition, the Lancers have produced numerous NHL draft picks and collegiate hockey standouts over the years. The team plays its home games at Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Ralston, bringing fast-paced, high-energy hockey to fans across the metro area. The Lancers are celebrated for their community involvement and dedication to developing elite athletes—values that align perfectly with MD West ONE’s mission of advancing sports medicine and orthopedic care in the region.

Meet the Team Doctors of the Omaha Lancers

Dr. Austin Reilly is a double board-certified Anesthesiologist and pain specialist at MD West ONE. A Nebraska native, Dr. Reilly has participated in numerous research studies and cutting-edge treatments that have expanded the field of interventional pain medicine. His personalized approach to pain management helps athletes and patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. Outside of medicine, Dr. Reilly enjoys traveling, fitness, the outdoors, and covering the Omaha Lancers.

Dr. Stephen Brown has been practicing orthopedics in Omaha since 1999. Fellowship trained in sports medicine, Dr. Brown specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of knee and shoulder injuries, as well as minimally invasive surgical techniques and joint replacement. In 2025, Dr. Brown joined MD West ONE, where he continues to provide world-class orthopedic care to the community. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, skiing, traveling, and supporting the Lancers.

Dr. Mark Pitner, a University of Nebraska Medical Center graduate and Mayo-trained orthopedic surgeon, has dedicated his career to helping patients achieve pain-free, active lives. Specializing in joint replacement, Dr. Pitner combines exceptional surgical skill with a commitment to long-term health and mobility. He enjoys time with family, outdoor activities like hunting and boating, and cheering on the Lancers from the sidelines.
