SAMUEL P. PHILLIPS, MD
Dr. Phillips’ practice focuses on the managment of hip and knee arthritis. His surgical expertise includes hip replacement, knee replacement, partial and uni-compartmental knee replacement, as well as knee arthroscopy. He also provides trauma care centered on the hip, knee and femur.
Dr. Phillips provides advanced technologies and alternatives, especially for the younger arthritic patients. If surgery is required, he relys on multimodal pain management options which provide a great advancement in how potential discomfort is managed following surgery.
He is originally from Canada and completed fellowships in knee and hip replacement in London, Ontario and Dallas, Texas. His favorite past-time outside of work includes grilling and barbeque.
“My practice philosopy is to treat my patients with the most up-to-date, evidence based treatments that are proven reliable. I stress a conservative approach, pursuing non-surgical options before proceeding to surgery. I spend a great deal of time with my patients, making sure they have all their questions answered and that they are well informed of their options and treatment plans.”
