Sean Bigler, PA-C
Physician Assistant to Dr. Darren Keiser
Sean Bigler, PA-C, is an Orthopedic Physician Assistant who has been with MD West ONE, formerly Methodist Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, since 2013. He completed his physician assistant training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.
Sean enjoys working with patients and helping educate them on their orthopedic conditions. As a Physician Assistant (PA), he is here to help patients in their time of need, whether answering questions about their conditions, concerns about signs/symptoms, or post-surgical care. Sean and Dr. Keiser do what is best for their patients, whether it requires surgery or other non-invasive treatments; they always strive to treat patients the same manner they would like to be treated.
During Sean's 20 years as a PA, he has primarily worked in surgery. His career started by working in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. In 2007, he took a new path into Orthopedic Surgery-- he was able to find his new home with MD West One, formerly Methodist Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, delivering orthopedic care to the greater metro area.
Furthermore, Sean has been in the Army National Guard for 18 years. During that time, he completed two combat tours in Afghanistan, working as a PA in Emergency Medicine and Trauma Surgery. Orthopedic Surgery has allowed him to work with patients both in the clinic and hospital setting.
Away from work, Sean enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys watching his kids participate in sports, scouts, and theatre. Sean also enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, camping, and canoeing.
